Tribute slot
Each Schlagerfest event plays a wide range of Nordic pop, schlager and Eurovision favourites, classic and modern, by groups, male artists and female artists. We can go from ABBA to Lena Mayer-Landrut to Anna Book to Ola in the space of 10 minutes, and that’s central to what makes it such a great night. But we also want to spend a little time honouring and showcasing the strength in depth achieved by all-time favourite schlager legends.
At each event, DJ Dave Simmons will play back-to-back tracks by a featured schlager legend for around 20 minutes. As well as their all-time classic Melodifestivalen entries, this set is likely to feature at least one or two non-Melodifestivalen songs by the act, that we’re confident will keep you on the dancefloor and add a little extra freshness to each event. The many fans of the act we pick each event will find this feature of the night a special treat!
